Recipe: The Best-Ever Milkshakes

Recipe: The Best-Ever Milkshakes
Watch our video below to see how to make three of our favourite shakes from our milkshake base: classic Cookies & Cream, indulgent Nutella and our tribute to Elvis - peanut butter & banana, topped with peanut butter toast. The best part - it's so easy!

We love our basic milkshake recipe because with just one base you can create limitless flavour combos to satisfy your every craving. The best part - it's so easy! Milkshakes are very forgiving and flexible. If you add too much flavouring, just top up with a little extra milk or ice cream. Not sweet enough? Add a touch of sugar or honey. Want more oomph? Add a little more of the flavouring component and you're good to go.

Milkshake Base Recipe

  • For a thicker shake, use 1 part vanilla ice cream to 1 part milk
  • For a thinner shake, use 1 part vanilla ice cream to 2 parts milk

Tip: Use our premium ice cream for a full, creamy texture and taste, or our Vanilla Bean Dream gelato for a slightly lighter, cleaner finish. Full cream milk is best.
